Your meaningful purpose:

To ensure Operational Excellence through Quality Assurance by developing, auditing, enforcing compliance with, and continuously improving internal processes, procedures and (quality) standards thus safeguarding OSBIT delivery and contributing to profitability of the organization.

What will your challenges be?

• Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement

Oversees and ensures alignment of the organization’s annual improvement agenda for Clusters, Projects and horizontal disciplines, based on strategy and audit insights. Ensures that performance against annual QA objectives is monitored and that identified improvement opportunities are translated into concrete actions contributing to operational excellence (OSBIT). Initiates and drives continuous improvement efforts, ensures the realization of set objectives, and maintains oversight of the progress and impact of improvement projects throughout the organization.

• Audit Management & Standardization Oversight

Develops and maintains the organizational audit framework, including the structure, templates, and terms of reference. Executes and oversees the audit program to ensure independence and consistency. Ensures that audit findings are analysed and consolidated into actionable recommendations. Ensures timely implementation and follow-up of corrective actions. In addition, develops, maintains, and ensures accessibility of the Oceanco Management System, including all procedures, templates, and standards. Provides training on auditing practices and OMS compliance.

• Management & Leadership

Leads, develops, and motivates the QA team and internal audit team, ensuring delivery of high-quality output and continuous professional growth in line with company values and HR policy. Ensures that responsibilities are clear, employees’ performance is monitored, and collaboration across disciplines is facilitated. Participates in strategic discussions with stakeholders, ensuring quality perspectives are integrated into decision-making processes.

• Representation & Reporting

Represents the QA function across projects and clusters, ensuring quality assurance maintains visibility and authority in relevant forums. Ensures timely and structured reporting to the Manager Operational Excellence, providing clear insight into audit results, trends, and recommendations. Throughout all responsibilities, safeguards confidentiality and data integrity while upholding the organization’s professional standards.

What do we ask for?

• HBO/Bachelor’s degree in related discipline
• Fluent in English, Dutch speaking a good plus
• Extensive experience in a similar role in an industrial environment, preferably within maritime industry and/or yacht building industry
• Experienced with people management
• You recognise yourself in the following competencies: Quality oriented, Organisation engagement, Helicopter view, Autonomy
• Knowledge of MS Office applications, including SharePoint
