Your meaningful purpose:
Financial management of the project, including monitoring of the project’s financial performance (compared to budget), compliance with the PM Handbook and (cash flow) forecasting and secure up-to-date, accurate and complete financial project information to enable early detection of (financial) risks, increasing the response time for management and the number of opportunities to mitigate risks as well as to maximise profitability where possible.
What will your challenges be?
- Financial Project Management
List, determine and monitor all relevant conditions of the project contract. Set up and implement project processes in alignment with the PM Handbook and ensure compliance. Review, control, analyse and evaluate weekly produced complex financial project data overviews by Project Administrator, evaluate variances in close co-operation with Project Director and propose total forecast adjustments (shift budget or overruns) and have these implemented. Identify risks. Develop, calculate and advise about possible scenario’s, cash and or risk management as a basis for decision making by Project Director. Monitor payment conditions and fulfilment of project contract, correct processing of Client Change Orders and/or Claims. Maximise profit of project on hand through overseeing the project, anticipating on and/or influencing stakeholders, actively picking up opportunities that might occur and/or pro-actively mitigate any possible risk that might endanger profitability. Maintain balance between the project’s financial performance and the company’s financial performance. Advise Project Director accordingly.
- Client Management Present, clarify and/or explain project status and financial project performance in co-operation with Project Director. Prepare and present change orders to owner and owner’s representative. Handle owner related financial and legal matters (invoicing, guarantees, delivery documentation, owner’s supplies, bank guarantees, insurance, VAT etc.). Attend meetings on a regular basis. Support handling of owner’s complaints. - Reporting Prepare monthly reporting to non-executive board (Project Management Dashboard and underlying financial report, risk report, progress report and cash flow forecast) together with Project Director. Report identified risks concerning the owner, milestones and/or gate planning, major budget deviations, contractual performances of the yacht/weight and the performance of co-makers and subcontractors to non-executive board. Obtain and evaluate ad hoc financial reporting to enable or facilitate decision making by Project Director. |
What do we ask for?
· Accountancy RA and/or RC (Master’s degree) · Relevant experience in a similar scope · You recognise yourself in the following competences: Quality orientation, Autonomy, Anticipating, Persuasiveness · Knowledge of MS office applications / Sharepoint 365 · A good command of written and spoken English |
