Your meaningful purpose:

Shaping and delivering communication plans, within given procedures and guidelines and within given authorization level, to support marketing initiatives, boost engagement, and align internal and external messaging with the brand’s values.

What will your challenges be?

- Internal communication

You’ll develop and submit a strategic internal communication plan for approval. Your focus will be on strengthening the company culture, increasing employee engagement, and reinforcing our brand from within. You’ll drive internal initiatives that celebrate our people and milestones through both recurring and campaign-based communication. You’ll find creative ways to share achievements and important updates across the organization. Collaborating closely with different teams and clusters, you’ll help shape internal communication channels (e.g. SharePoint, intranet) to ensure clarity, consistency, and connection across Oceanco.

- External communication

You’ll collaborate on creating, writing and delivering valuable communications for external audiences. Working closely together with the team, you’ll help design and execute compelling content for marketing campaigns across digital platforms, as well as for sales and promotional materials. Together, you’ll oversee website content, newsletters, and social media channels to grow and engage our audience. You’ll also support the development of impactful communication assets for yacht launches, yacht shows, and key industry events.

- Representation

You'll represent the company in all ways. Create, develop and maintain an international network with various third parties (e.g. international press relations) as far as applicable for the position and – where applicable –after approval of superior. Provide high level standards at all times and places, all in line with procedures and guidelines, and if necessary, take corrective actions. Safeguard the privacy of clients and the confidentiality of data, information and yachts.

- Reporting

You'll ensure timely and correct reporting to superior in accordance with procedures and guidelines. Analyse industry trends and competitor activities to uncover new communication opportunities and inform manager accordingly.

What do we ask for?

- Fluent in both Dutch and English
- HBO degree in relevant field  
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills  
- A collaborative mindset; you’re a true team player who enjoys working cross-functionally 
- Analytical skills and a natural sense of initiative  
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, you adapt quickly and stay sharp under pressure  
- Solid knowledge of MS Office applications; Sharepoint familiarity is a plus 

Please note: While we value flexibility, this role requires close collaboration with various teams and stakeholders. Therefore, a preference is given to candidates who are available to work primarily on-site.
