Oceanco offers large custom yachts up to 140 meters in length and Life Cycle Support to support and enhance every single stage of a yacht’s lifetime. Oceanco provides highly personalized service to clients and applies innovative design and technology to create one-of-a-kind bespoke yachts that respect the vision of both the Owner and the designer. Furthermore, a full spectrum of services to respect, preserve and renew existing yachts is guaranteed by our expertise.

We are a project-oriented management company outsourcing the main yacht building packages to our strategic co-makers. What will your challenges be?

• As a Buyer you are part of our inspiring project teams within Life Cycle Support
• You contribute to Procurement in Life Cycle Support in all aspects and will work with engineering and production in order to realize together with involved suppliers a timely and qualitative supply.
• Contract and monitor progress of the supplier for timely and accurate execution of the order.
• Solve operational and contractual issues with the supplier including change orders; in close cooperation with the Project Team.
• You build and maintain a working relationship with involved third parties.

 What do we ask for?

• Higher Vocational Education with relevant working experience
• Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in a procurement/purchasing or supply chain environment preferably in the maritime industry
• You recognise yourself in the following competences: Adaptability, Collaboration, Anticipation, Perseverance
• You are pro-active and problem-solving in your approach
• You have a can-do, and result driven mentality
• You are a proud and passionate professional that is eager to learn
• Knowledge of MS office applications and Business Central
• A good command of written and spoken English
