What will be your challenge?

In this role you will have the following duties and responsibilities:

• As an Expeditor you are part of one of our inspiring project teams that realize our yachts. You report to the Project Procurement Manager.
• You are responsible for the equipment list / bill of material. After the purchase order confirmation by the supplier, follow-up the timely and qualitative supply to the yard, in close cooperation with all team members and the suppliers. The goal is OTIF supply ‘one-time in full’ according to all specifications.
• Follow-up the VDR (Vendor Document Register) to ensure timely and qualitative registration on the servers of Oceanco of a diversity of technical and commercial documents/certificates that need to be provided by suppliers.
• After the purchase order, the supplier will start his detail engineering which generates work drawings. Follow-up this process in order to have a timely manufacturing start. During the kick-off meeting with the supplier all inspections are defined and planned. Follow-up these events with the involved project team members, know and understand the planning methodology and its impact on all involved disciplines (internally and externally)
• Report on a regular basis to manager about progress of work. Ensures timely and precise documenting of all relevant data filed in the crucial data flow between all involved (internal/external) stakeholders.
• You work in aligned co-makership with our partners and see and realise possible synergies based on your expertise and mutual respect

What do we ask for?

• Secondary Vocational Education with relevant work experience (MBO+)
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience preferably in maritime industry and/or yacht building industry
• You recognise yourself in the following competences; Collaboration, Exactitude, Helicopterview and problem solving ability.
• You oversee the big picture and have a comprehensive view of the entire process
• You are pro-active and problem-solving in your approach
• You are a proud and passioned professional that is eager to learn
• Knowledge of MS office applications
• A good command of written and spoken English
