What will be your challenge?

  • In this role you will have the following duties and responsibilities :
  • As an Junior Engineer Electrical, you are part of one of our project teams that realise our yachts. You report to the Lead Engineer Electrical.
  • You will be assisting the Senior and/or Lead Engineer in the realisation of engineering output (engineering documents and specifications) for the various technical production disciplines.
  • As key Engineering objectives, Basic Engineering, Detail Engineering and Production Support are distinguished.
  • You will be assigned to a project and will be working on all necessary information for the specification of the yacht and applicable norms, standards, laws and regulations related to the discipline. As almost all operational engineering work is subcontracted, managing the flow of information is key.
  • You are quality oriented in your approach and plan and organise the work in such a way that goals are achieved in time.

 

What do we ask for?

  • Secondary Vocational Education (MBO-4) related in the Electrical discipline. Affinity with the maritime industry and / or yacht building industry is preferred.
  • You recognise yourself in the following competences; Quality orientation, planning and organising and communication.
  • You are pro-active and problem-solving in your approach.
  • You are a proud and passionate team player who is eager to learn.
  • Knowledge of MS office applications, AutoCad and Rhinoceros
  • A good command of written and spoken English
