What will be your challenge?   

• You will develop the HSSE strategy in close cooperation with the Manager QHSE- Process Improvement to minimalize the impact of activity on the environment, in order to guarantee the privacy of the clients and loss of property of employees and clients, hospitality to visitors and ensure an safe and healthy work environment. Based on the approval, you will help develop and write the HSSE policy (including planning and budgeting)  
• You act as the ambassador for HSSE, both internally and externally. You are the first point of contact to discuss HSSE related matters and you analyse, address and advice to solve HSSE related issues with internal and external stakeholders 
• You will be responsible to prepare and facilitate special events (e.g. Load-in, Load-out, Sea trials, helicopter movements) and ensure timely reporting to local governmental bodies to ensure compliance to local law and legislation 
• You will lead, manage, develop and motivate assigned team of professionals in line with the Annual Plan, HR policy, corporate values and agreed budget  
• You will facilitate the First Response Teams (BHV) organization and ensure that people are and stay qualified through timely training. You know how to stimulate knowledge, competence and career development of subordinate and focus on continuous improvement of HSSE processes 
• You follow the developments in local and national (environmental/occupational) legislation at all times.  
• In order to maintain and assess the existing licensing portfolio with regard to HSSE you discuss and negotiate  
• Discuss and negotiate with local and national governmental bodies requests for and/or renewal of licenses 

What do we ask for?  

• Safety Management (HVK) 
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role within a similar technical environment 
• You recognise yourself in the following competences: analytical ability, taking responsibility, kindling enthusiasm, conflict management, passionate and proud team player 
• Knowledge of MS office applications 
• A good command of written and spoken English
